Paying by card? Head to the kiosk and select the machine and the cycle — note the machine number as you select it. To pay with one-euro coins, go straight to the machine you want and select the cycle there.

Load your laundry and press start.

Once it's running, you can settle in on our sofa and wait in comfort. Or pop out for a coffee if you'd rather — just make sure you're back before your cycle finishes.

You leave with the laundry done.

Use the baskets to carry your laundry to the drying area and repeat the same machine selection. Then fold at the table and that's it.

The greengrocer is right next door, with cafés, bars and places to eat a step away. Inside: a reading corner, plants and water for your dog. Doing laundry can be a pause, not a chore.

VS19 is what we call our place: Virgen del Sagrario, 19. La Conce is one of those neighbourhoods that has breakfast out in the street and greets you by name — and the shop lives at its own pace: open 7 to 22 every day, almost always running on its own. We look after it between us, the way the neighbourhood looks after its own things.
